For the Three Weeks, we may not be able to delve into some of our favorite songs, but we can discuss where Jewish music is going and its deep, spiritual roots.
R’ Dani sits down to talk music with Aron Shapiro – from the famous, musically talented Shapiro family – and Yaakov Brown, who is a well-known “curator” of Jewish music, who works with Doni Gross, Mishpacha Magazine and many others in the Jewish music world.

I loved the podcast with Dani Kunstler.
When I heard the story about the Munkatcher Rov with Kwartin’s Tiher Rabi Yishmael I got really excited.
You see, my grandfather Reb Shmiel Sternberg had a similar story with Reb Aaron Belzer zt”l!
He was singing Yom Kippur night in Belz in the 50’s in Israel with some other people after davening and the Belzer Rav heard it and said that it must be that Kwartin had a hirhur tshuva when he composed the song.
